Online BSBA Program Coordinator East Bay
The Online BSBA Program Coordinator is housed within the Online BSBA Program Office, a unit of the College of Business & Economics (CBE) Student Success & Support Center. This role coordinates the Online BSBA program, which is a component of the Special Sessions programs. This position oversees office management, leads Online BSBA staff, preparation of schedules, maintenance of program reports and statistics, which includes retention and graduation rates, determination of eligibility to the program, preparation of program evaluations, advising, and general day-to-day operations. This position regularly communicates and collaborates with the CBE Office of Undergraduate Advising and Advising Resource Center to maintain standard advising practices and support for all Business Administration students.
Performing Arts Technician Pool (Hourly) East Bay
This position performs and assists in backstage technical operations for University Theatre events, including lighting, sound, rigging, carpentry, and general stage production support. Aids in mounting departmental productions and servicing external events by constructing and setting up technical systems such as scenery, props, and effects. Supports backstage and shop operations, helps train and guide student assistants in the safe and proper use of equipment and materials, and ensures facilities and equipment are maintained. Performs related duties as assigned.
Engineering/Computer Science Administrative Assistant East Bay
Provides general office support and oversees the common daily operations of the Computer Science and Engineering Hub. Coordinates reception, offering accurate guidance and direction to all visitors, callers and correspondents. Maintains the calendars, schedules appointments, and serves as general assistant to the Chairs. Supports the Analyst and Office Manager with departmental purchasing, payroll, and coordination for large events. Aids Student Service Professionals with enrollment management forms and filing. Online BSBA Senior Academic Advisor & Graduate Programs Assistant (Self-Support Programs) East Bay
The Online BSBA Senior Academic Advisor & Graduate Programs Assistant (Self-Support Programs) provides comprehensive academic advising for the Online BSBA Self Support Program and program coordination support for the Self Support Graduate Programs within the College of Business & Economics (CBE). The position serves as a main advisor for Online BSBA students, assisting with academic planning, course progression, graduation eligibility, and degree completion. In addition, the incumbent supports Self Support Graduate Programs through administrative coordination, including processing degree checks, preparing graduate capstone completion memos, and submitting degree audit updates. This role requires close collaboration with faculty, department chairs, program coordinators, and University Extension, and campus administrative offices to ensure effective program delivery, data accuracy, and high-quality student support.
Painter (2 Positions) East Bay
Performs the work of a journey level painter. Expectations require knowledge and methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the painting trade including painting, finishing, drywall, surface preparation, road and parking striping, mold mitigation and a thorough knowledge of applicable state codes and regulations including safety orders, completion of work assignments and completion of daily time cards.
Assistant Professor of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences East Bay
The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences is one of five departments in the newly founded College of Health, housed on the Hayward campus. The department currently has approximately 120 undergraduate and 100 graduate students, taught by faculty and staff who are actively engaged in research and clinical training in the Norma S. and Ray R. Rees Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic. We are seeking a colleague to complement current faculty interests and specialization.
Budget and Data Analyst East Bay
Under general direction, the analyst provides administrative and analytical support to the Dean of CBE on all budgetary and financial matters affecting the College. The primary responsibilities of this position include collaborating with CBE deans, faculty, staff, and campus offices (e.g., University Budget Office, Academic Affairs, Accounting, Procurement, Advancement) to prepare the College’s operating budget, resolve financial and operational issues, develop policies, and support strategic planning. The analyst manages a large and diverse portfolio of funds with full fiscal authority and responsibility; interprets and implements policies across state, CSU, and campus levels; and designs processes, reports, and recommendations to ensure effective budget oversight. The role also includes extracting, analyzing, and reconciling financial, HR, accounts payable, and purchasing data; preparing transfers, projections, and reconciliations; approving and monitoring expenditures; and ensuring compliance with established policies. Additionally, the analyst leads financial and technical reviews to identify problems, adapt plans, and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and reporting tools. The position supports AACSB accreditation by monitoring and reporting financial data, ensuring compliance, and preparing required documentation and reports. This role requires advanced expertise in financial analysis, resource allocation, accounting maintenance, financial reporting, expenditure and budget monitoring, recordkeeping, forecasting, and other department-level fund reporting.
Senior Records Specialist East Bay
The area of Enrollment Management provides comprehensive services to prospective students, continuing students, staff, faculty, and the members of the community-at-large who are seeking information or services from the University within the functional areas of recruitment and pre-admission advising, admissions, transfer credit, graduation evaluations, financial aid, student records and registration. This position in the Office of the Registrar specializes in records and registration functions including assisting answering the Records call center; helping students with registration and records inquiries; processing numerous Records forms, such as withdrawals, change of major/minor, graduation postponement, and change of grade. This position will also assist with coordinating/processing transcript orders, answering e-mails to the Records Office, and co-coordinating imaging of Records documents.

Head Athletic Trainer East Bay
Under the general supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for the development, organization, and administration of the sports medicine program, including providing work direction to other athletic trainers, including assigning, monitoring and evaluating work; developing and monitoring the program budget, and maintaining and monitoring the medical records and progress of all student athletes. When injuries do occur, the Head Athletic Trainer serves as a first responder by recognizing and evaluating the injuries, and subsequently developing treatment and rehabilitation programs, incorporating the appropriate therapeutic modalities and use of rehabilitation and exercise equipment. Due to the nature of the work, the individual must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as well as, be available to travel with teams.
Hourly Real Time Captioner POOL (Temporary & Intermittent) East Bay
The purpose of this position is to provide communication access via real-time captioning services for students, faculty, staff and guests of the campus who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. Services may be required on-site at one of Cal State East Bay’s three campuses: Hayward, Concord, and/or Oakland. Real-time captioning may be needed in academic courses, meetings, office hours, student groups, and/or campus events. This is an hourly, temporary, intermittent position. Work schedules may vary each academic term depending on operational needs. This position may require working some weekend and evening hours as needed.
