Minimum Qualifications 

  • Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (ABD status considered, however, terminal degree is required at the time of hire)
  • California Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the candidate’s area of expertise
  • Planned or active research program in adult and/or pediatric motor speech disorders
  • Demonstrated evidence or potential for teaching excellence at the university level
  • Ability to teach courses in dysarthria, apraxia, and AAC

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Research plan or productivity commensurate with rank and experience
  • Ability to teach in multiple content areas related to motor-speech disorders, such as voice, resonance, phonetics; speech sound production; and fluency

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $7,125- $8,646 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,221- $13,224 per month
